Map
Another new feature here at The Thirsty Hopster!
This was inspired by a conversation my sister and I had while attending GABF 2008. We decided to make a Google Map of all of the breweries we had visited, color-coded according to which one of us had been to the brewery, and according to whether it’s a distribution brewery or a brewpub. Any place that serves food, even if they also distribute, e.g. Stone and their World Bistro & Gardens, is counted as a brewpub. As I added all the breweries, I couldn’t help but feel the map would be incomplete without the fantastic beer bars, beer restaurants, and beer stores we’ve visited. So I added these as well. We’ve only included places we’ve visited in person, so there are lots more breweries whose beers we have tasted out of bottles, in bars, or at festivals, that are not included here.
Again, as with the events page, the map will one day be embedded in this page. Until I get around to moving the blog to a new host, youll have to make do with using the links provided here:
View The Thirsty Hopster Lifetime Beer Map. This will open a new page displaying a Google Map marking all of the breweries, brewpubs, beer bars, beer restaurants, and beer stores my sister and I have visited.
Subscribe to The Thirsty Hopster Lifetime Beer Map. This will allow you to subscribe in Google Reader or any other feed reader, such that each time I add a marker to the map, you receive notice.
